Cottsway formed in 2001 and provide over 5,300 homes for rent and shared ownership. Their homes are based in West Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire, and range from flats and bungalows to family homes.

We undertook a complete scoping process to come up with a new design, UX and structure for the new site.
An important element of the site build was the content migration, which was something the client wanted Moore-Wilson to complete. This was a manual process that allowed the client to review a section at a time.
The site was built in the latest version of Umbraco, which is a powerful open source CMS based on .net and allows for easy editing of content, something that was important to the client.
We had weekly meetings with the client to ensure they were up to date with what was being worked on, and also allow them to have regular input, ask any questions and raise any concerns. This also helped to ensure the content migration went smoothly, as we could address issues and questions as they came up.
